MT4 Server Reconnection Solution

Here’s what to do:

     

      • Make sure to re-login to your live trading platform that’s actively trading.

      • Have your current, valid login details handy for your VPS, especially if you’re using automated trading EAs/Bots.

      • Make sure you use your Metatrader Master/Main Password, which allows trading. Avoid using the Investor Password since it’s read-only and doesn’t permit trading.

      • If you’re unsure or have misplaced your Metatrader Master/Main Password. Simply set a new one to continue with the login process and reconnect your trading platform.

    Make sure to follow these steps on Sunday, September 22nd.

       

        1. Open MT4 and go to File in the top left.

        1. Select Login to Trade Account.

        1. Enter your same account number & password, and choose Server: OxSecurities-Live-3

        1. Copy & paste the New Server IP Address details (shown below) into the server field, then select Login.
